PG48 Nylon Hazardous Location Cable Gland, Extended Thread, Ex ATEX

The ASI 3002937, type 4901.48 is an extended mounting thread PG48 explosion proof or hazardous location cable gland that has Ex and ATEX certification. The extended mounting thread of 18mm allows this explosion proof cable gland to be used in applications where the panel is a bit thicker. This ex cable gland is made of Polyamide PA6.6, has an IP68 rating and can be used in hazardous location areas 1&2, 21 &22. The 4901.48 extended thread ex cable gland has a cable clamping range of 38 - 45mm and the tightening nut is 66mm. The ASI Atex PG48 cable gland is also available in a standard length mounting thread version.
