ASI 3012810 M12 hazard location cable gland is made of nickel plated brass with M12 x 1.5 pitch threads. These flameproof cable glands are used in hazardous location environments containing gas, vapor, fog, and powder. These ATEX M12 glands are designed for use with a 12.2 mm mounting hole, 16 mm tightening nut, factory installed O-ring and provide a 3 to 6.5 mm clamping range on cables and wires. The strain relief cable grip insert is made of a flexible Polyamide PA 6.6 and the factory fitted Nitrile 70 O-ring provide increased safety to the enclosure or panel after installation. The combination of the seal to the cable or wire and the seal to the enclosure ensures that the ASI nickel plated Ex cable gland cord grips meet IP65, NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X standards. The ASI metal cable glands operate in a temperature range between -25 degrees to 75 degrees Celsius.
