M16 Hazardous Location Cable Gland With Extended Mounting Threads, 6.5-10 mm Clamping range, Nickel Plated Brass, ATEX, IP65

ASI 3012852 M16 hazardous location cable gland is made from nickel plated brass with M16 x 1.5 pitch extended threads. This flameproof cable gland is used in hazardous location environments containing gas, vapor, fog, and powder. These ATEX M16 glands are designed with 16.2 mm mounting hole, 20 mm tightening nut, factory installed O-ring and provide 6.5-10 mm clamping range on cables and wires. The strain relief cable grip insert is made of a flexible Polyamide PA 6.6 and the factory fitted Nitrile 70 O-ring provide increased safety to the enclosure or panel after installation. The combination of the seal to the cable or wire and the seal to the enclosure ensures that the ASI Ex M16 cable glands meet IP65, NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X standards. The ASI metal cable glands operate in a temperature range between -25 degrees to 75 degrees Celsius.
