The metal housing of this field wireable M12, x coded connector is nickel plated zinc alloy, the contacts are made of gold plated brass, and the connector nut/screw is made of nickel plated brass/zinc. The sealing O-ring is made of FKM. In the locked position this Ethernet Cable Connector meets IP67 standards protecting against liquid and debris.
