50A Din Rail Active Redundancy Module,12-85V Input, Compact

The ASIOR50 is a DIN Rail Active Redundancy Module used where a strong redundancy of DC power is needed. It provides isolation between two power supplies in case one unit fails, by providing continuous delivery of power towards a critical load. By keeping two power supplies active the application reaches a higher MTBF than using one active power supply. This 20A redundancy module prevents excessive ageing of the power supply and allows the same life expectancy for the capacitors and other sensitive parts of both power supplies. The ASIOR50 allows the paralleling of output of any two power supplies, providing 50Amp of DC power with voltages from 12V to 85V. This DIN Rail Redundancy module is ultra compact, has pluggable connections for fast and easy installation, and an LED status display to show how each connected power supply is sharing the load.
