The ASICPICPC is a protective cap for use with the RJ45 and USB bulkhead connectors to provide IP67 waterproof protection for ASICPICRJ45S and ASICPICUSB2.0AS bulkhead waterproof connectors. The RJ45 protection cap protects from dust and liquid immersion up to 1 meter deep. Panel mount connectors are sold separately. The lanyard which is part of the protection cap slides onto the threaded section of the bulkhead connector and is secured by the connector's locknut. The Quick Lock cap, which is tethered to the ring, screws tightly over the RJ45 or USB connectors. The waterproof protection cap enables both versions of these panel mount connectors to meet IP67, NEMA 6 and 6P.
